MP Civil Judge Vacancy 2023 Eligibility Criteria

(1) Eligibility:- No person shall be eligible for appointment to the post of Civil Judge, Junior Division (Entry Level), unless he

(a) he is not a citizen of India;

(b) he is of good character and good health and is not free from any physical defect disqualifying him for such appointment,

(c) he does not hold a graduate degree in law from a university recognized by the Bar Council of India;

Provided that he must have continuously practiced law as an advocate for at least three years till the last date fixed for submitting the application.

Or

An exceptional Law graduate with excellent academic career in five/three year course in Law who has passed all examinations in the first attempt and in any semester/year without appearing in supplementary examination or without ATKT in case of candidates belonging to General Category or Other Backward Class. Must have secured at least 70 percent marks in aggregate and in case of reserved category (Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe) candidates, at least 50 percent marks in aggregate.

 The period of continuous practice as an advocate will be calculated from the date of provisional enrollment of the candidate subject to the condition that he has appeared for the All India Bar Examination (wherever the examination is held and the period requires) within two years of the date of provisional enrolment. has not been exempted from being counted as PG) and has passed and obtained “Certificate of Practice”.

AGE LIMIT: A candidate must have attained the age of 22 years but must not be more than 35 years of age as on the last date prescribed for submit of Online Recruitment Applications.
