KVS Teacher Vacancy Eligibility Criteria

1. PGT (English, Hindi, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, BioTechnology, Commerce, Economics, History, Pol Science, Geography)

1). Two years’ Integrated Post Graduate M.Sc Course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50 % Marks Or Master Degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the concerned subject.

2. B.Ed or equivalent degree from a recognized University except PGT (Computer Sc.)

3. Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English Medium. Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Applications.

For PGT (Computer Science only)

1. At least 50% marks in aggregate in any of the following: B.E or B. Tech. (Computer Science/IT) from a recognized University or equivalent Degree or Diploma from an institution/ university recognized by the Govt. of India.

OR

B.E or B. Tech. (any stream) and Post Graduate Diploma in Computers from recognized University.

OR

M.Sc(Computer Science)/ MCA or Equivalent from a recognized University.

OR

B.Sc(Computer Science) / BCA or Equivalent and Post Graduate degree in subject from a recognized University. OR Post Graduate Diploma in Computer and Post Graduate degree in any subject from recognized University.

OR

‘B’ Level from DOEACC and Post Graduate degree in any subject.

OR

‘C’ Level from ‘DOEACC’ Ministry of Information and Communication Technology and Graduation.

2). Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English medium.

Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Applications.

2. TGT (English, Hindi, Maths, Science, Social Studies, Sanskrit)

1) Four years’ Integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject as well as with at least 50% marks in aggregate ;

OR

Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subjects/ combination of subjects and in aggregate.

3. Primary Teacher

1). Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)

OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B. El. Ed.)

OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) OR Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)from any NCTE recognized institution.

2). Qualified in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (Level 1 only for class 1 to 5) Conducted by CBSE.

3). Proficiency to teach through Hindi and English Medium

Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Applications.

4. Computer Instructor, Music (Vocal and Instrumental), Dance, Experts in Games and Sports, Coaches, Yoga & Art and Craft Teacher

Computer Instructor:

B.E(CS/IT)/B.Tech(CS/IT)/M.Sc(CS/IT/Electronics with Computer Science Components)/B.Sc.(CS)/BCA/MCA or equivalent from a recognized university. Bachelors/ Master Degree in any Science subject/Mathematics with PGDCA from a recognized university. Post Graduate Degree in any subject with PGDCA from a recognized university/”O” or ‘A’ Level from DOEACC or Higher Level.

Sports Coaches: FOR Coaches, B.P.Ed. from Recognized University/Institute with 50 %

OR

person trained from NIS / SAI or who have represented at National Level / International Level in the desired Game. Note: Specialization in field is desirable.

Yoga : Graduation with diploma in Yoga

Note: Specialization in field is desirable.

Music Experts: Senior Secondary School Certificate with 50% marks or Intermediate with 50% marks or its equivalent and Bachelor Degree in Music or equivalent from a recognized University.

ii) Competence to teach through English\Hindi medium.

Note: Specialization in field is desirable.

Activity(Art & Craft) Coach :

1. Five years’ recognized Diploma in Drawing and Painting/Sculpture! Graphic Art from a recognized university (Painting skill is must) OR Equivalent recognized Degree

2. Working knowledge of Hindi & English. Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Applicationsand Specialization in field is essential.

5. Nurse

Three Years Diploma/Degree in Nursing with valid registration. BLS(Basic Life Support) course at least once in two years should be completed latest.

6. Special Educator

Essential Qualification – 1. Graduation with B.Ed.(Special Education)

OR

2. Graduation with B.Ed(General) with one year Diploma in Special Education

OR

3. Graduation with B.Ed(General) with 02 years Diploma in Special Education.

OR

4. Graduation with B.Ed(General) with Post Graduate Professional Diploma in Special Education(PGPC)

OR

5. Graduation with B.Ed(Special Education) and Post Graduate Professional Certificate in Special Education(PGPC).

Mandatory: The candidates must be registered with Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) and registration certificate must be renewed within last 05 years.
