Phd Admission 2022 23 Criteria

Eligibility Criteria (Minimum Marks in the PG Degree)

i. Candidates who have passed above PG Degree under regular pattern in recognized University

ii. 50% marks for SC/ST/OBC (non creamy layer) / Person with Disability

iii. 55% marks for all Other Candidates

However, Candidates who are pursuing final year PG Course may also apply for this Qualifying Entrance Examination. The Pass Certificate (validity 5 years) will be issued only on production of attested copy of Cumulative Mark Statement ensuring minimum eligible percentage of marks in PG Degree.

Ans Yes, it’s mandatory and compulsory if you want to be an Assistant Professor/Lecturer across India. According to the UGC rule, only the UGC NET/CSIR NET/ICAR NET Exam is the gateway or entry for becoming Assistant Professor.
