Government Teacher Vacancy 2022 Eligibility Criteria

(i) Graduate/Post Graduate(or equivalent ) with at least 50% marks either in Graduation or in Post Graduation with Hindi as an elective subject at the Bachelor’s degree level from a recognized university AND

(ii) B. Ed/B. A. Ed/B. Sc. Ed from any National Council of Teachers Education recognized institution.

Relaxation in Educational Qualification:

The minimu m %o of marks prescribed is relaxable by 5% for ST/SC and Differently abled candidates,

Gov Teaching Jobs Age Limit

Candidates age should be Minimum – 21 Yrs and Maximum- 30 Yrs as on 01-01-20

Age Relaxation:-

The upper age limit is relaxable by:

(i) 5 (five) years for SC/ST Candidates.

(ii) 10 (ten) years for Candidates with Disabilities.

(iii) 3 ( three) years one time additional age relaxation granted vide P&AR Office Memorandum No.AR-5/ASSO/98( Vol-I) Dated, 2810212022 read along with P&AR Offrce Memorandum No.AR-S /AS S O/9 8 ( Vol-I) Dated, I 6 I 07 I 2021 .

(iv) Further, age concession for serving Govt. employees( Regular/Adhoc/Contract) shall be allowed, the equal number of years they are in service subject to a maximum of 5 ( five ) years.

Reservation:

(i) Reservation for Backward Tribes shall be as per Govt. of Nagaland Notification No.RCBT5/8 7(Pt. -ll) Dated 14 -04-2011, 15-06-2012 and 0 4-09-20I5.

(ii) Reservation for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities, wherever applicable, shall be as per P&AR Notification No.AR-3/Gen-9197( Pt.) Dated 13-08-2019 for those candidates fulfilling eligibility criteria prescribed vide P&AR Notification No.AR-3/Gen-9/97 Dated 13-08-2020.

Government Teaching Jobs Selection Procedure

Government Teaching Jobs Selection Procedure: (a) Selection of candidates in order of merit shall be on the basis of performance of candidates in Academic Records and Written Examination with the following weightage:-

i) Academic Records:                                = 40%

ii) Written E;amination& Viva-Voce :    = 60%

b) The weightage for academic records for all categories of Graduate Teachers shall be provided under:

c) (i) For the written Examination, there will be 1 ( one)paper of l g0 Marks. (ii) Viva-Voce for 20 Marks.

d) Merit List shall be prepared on the basis of the academic records of the candidates and performance in the written examination & Viva-Voce as per the criteria stated under 5 (a) and (b) above.

e) A waiting list, ‘not exceeding 25 %o of the vacancies advertised, shall be maintained. The waiting list shall remain valid for a period of 6(six) months from the date of declaration of results. Provided that the arrangement of the names of the qualified candidates in order of merit shall be subject to the reservation policy for scheduled Tribes and Backward Tribes as per instruction issued by the Government from time to time.

6. Only those candidates who possess the requisite qualifications as on the date of issue of this advertisement are eligible to apply for the post.

7. Candidates must fill all columns in the form providing accurate information in all aspect s. In case it is detected at any stage of recruitment that a candidate does not -fulfill the eligibility norms and/or that he/she has furnished incorrect or false information or his “suppressed”i any material fact(s), his/her candidature shall be summarily rejected.

8. Candidates must submit self-attested Photostat copies of the following documents along with the Application Form:

(a) 1 (one ) recent passport size photograph with full name printed at the bottom.

(b) Admit Card of HSlClEquivalent Examination for proof of Date of Birth. No other Certificate will be accepted for age proof.

(c) Mark Sheets of HSLC, HSSLC, B.A/B.Sc.( Or Equivalent), B. Ed/B. A. Ed/B. Sc. Ed, M.AAvLSc.( Or Equivalent), till highest qualification.

(d) Pass Certificates of HSLC, HSSLC, B.A/B.Sc.( Or Equivalent), B.Ed/B. A. Ed/B. Sc. Ed, M.A/M.Sc.( Or Equivalent), till highest qualification. in the absence of a pass Certificate/Degree issued by the University, candidates may submit a provisional pass Certificate issued by the Board/University.

(g) For candidates with disabilities, Certificate of Disability issued by the Competent Authority as per Rule 18 of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Rules, z}tiinthe prescribed format.

(h) Indigenous Inhabitant Certificate (IIC), SC/ST & BT (if applicable) Certificate. Indigenous Inhabitant Certificate, SC/ST & BT Certificates signed by District Authorities not below the rank of Additional Deputy commissioner only will be accepted.

(i) Candidates who are in Government Service should submit .,No OBJECTION CERTIFICATE” duly signed by the Head of the Department, with Name and Office Seal as per the format given in Annexure.

(j)Candidates selected in the merit list must bring the Originals of all documents stated above for verification at specified date which will be notified.

9. Application Forms may be downloaded from https://education.nagaland.gov.in Or https://dosenl.in and the duly filled in application forms along with the required fee may be submitted at Room No. 318 at the Directorate of School Education, Kohima, Nagaland from 31/05/2022 to 10/06/2022.
